I'm a lil bit obsessed with storytelling, and recently reworked the backstory for my town, Torres.

One day, Mayor and Flurry discover a girl laying on the tracks. Bandages cover all her face but one eye. They find a letter in her pocket, and take her to Isabelle. She, shocked, tells them that this was the girl who was supposed to be the mayor. But she doesn't seem to speak, and in the evenings after the girl's arrival, villagers have reported seeing strange shadows across their windows.

I do a lot of writing and art for it on my ACNL Tumblr, hehe. ^^"

What are your town stories?? :D

LOL. that's a very interesting story xD So I'm gonna make up mine too xD

MMm... So everyone in Sweetbox lives peacefully and happily. However, there's a certain part of the town that nobody has ever really been there. There are rumors that behind the cedar trees that wrap around that area, there is an small abandoned cabin. Some villagers are curious so they decide to go there and explore. However, they don't find anything. All they see is a piece of empty land. Strangely, some other villagers claim that they actually see a cabin there every time they go fishing near that area. The topic about the mysterious place becomes so controversial as everyone claims what they see is real.

One day some villagers get together and decide to make another trip to the area to end the dispute. It is a rainy night and everything is eerie as an illusion. As they arrive, they are shocked to see that there is actually something there. It definitely isn't an empty piece of land, but it isn't a small cabin as some villagers say either. It is a big house surrounded by dark, tall cedar trees. Although the villagers are a little bit scared, they still try to take some courage to enter the house. When they get inside, everyone is petrified by the scene around them. They are speechless and feeling like they are in hell. One villager cannot take it anymore and decides to get out. Unfortunately, the door suddenly shuts and everyone screams.

A human figure appears from behind the bookcase. He looks just like the mayor but he is not the mayor. He dresses in black and he seems to be both furious and gloomy. He murmurs something that nobody can hear then slowly disappears. The villagers try to stay calm although one of them pees in his pants and another faints. Everybody decides to go through the house to look for a way out. As they are searching around, they discover the history of that mysterious house and how the guy in black related to the mayor.

LMAO... it is such a corny story but please visit my dream address for fun if you have time xD I'm still trying to finish the town though xD

In Ironhill, the Mayor rules with a steel sense of justice, he punishes for littering or pitfall traps very harshly, banishing villagers to the cold harsh winters! He is quite open about who he allows in and out of the town so as not to upset the balance of life too much for the local villagers, some of them have a mighty fine temper on them, Wolfgang is the nominated sheriff of Ironhill, he patrols the town looking for the famed coconut thief! To this day he still has not been caught, many suspect it to be the former mayor known as Tortimer!

Chris often likes to escape his mayoral duties by spending the towns budget on umbrellas and masks and furniture for his personal palace! The villagers do not mind this so much as long as he fulfills their fishing/bug catching requests regularly!

Thats all I have so far haha, not much but still trying to expand it alot more!

oh my god!!! I know you think it's silly but holy cow I love this. ;w; You're very good at writing tension! c: I really love the idea of a cabin that seems to only appear to certain people.

Chris, holy cow, your mayor sounds like he could be an jarl in Skyrim! I love how Wolfgang's the lil sheriff, omg. That's adorable and also vaguely frightening, hehe.

lol i like your story xD

I remember going to sleep safely in my bed. Then I wake up to find this. For some reason, this isn't a dream. I've tried pinching myself and it does, unfortunately, hurt. I think my mom drove me here and left me since I see a letter right there on the ground. She said that she's on a vacation and dropped me off somewhere safe. I started wandering around and tripped over some dog...that can talk...in human clothes. She started dragging me to some unknown place and introduced me to some other animals that can talk english. I started living in a tent that some raccoon set up for me and asked that I pay "bells"? Seems like they don't accept US dollars here so it looks like I had to pick up seashells for the rest of my life to pay off my rent. I found out I can catch rare beetles at an island a turtle and a kappa told me about plus sharks. That pink llama is so rich, I'd agree to rob her any old day when her husband's still asleep. I started talking hesitantly to everyone in the village even though half of them creeped the hell out of me. Especially that hippo...is he going to eat me? I found out that they are usually very nice unless they get into an argument with one another. Many moved out and moved in as time passed by. I ended up not wanting to leave the town. Mom sent me a letter that she'll come back someday. Looks like I'm not leaving anytime soon.

There was a girl who lost somebun very precious to her, and wandered endlessly, lost and broken. During her travels, she stumbled upon a town with a very fitting name: Bunifrey. She decided she would rest her weary body for awhile, and didn't even bat an eye when a confused dog mistook her for their new mayor. After collecting enough (money? How are bells "money"?), she settled into a large house, decorated with the finest and most opulent furniture her newfound money could buy.

But not because she was pretentious, or snobby, but for one singularly painful reason: she was in pain and it was her pointless attempt at filling a void left in her heart.

Time passed and eventually her temporary rest stop was becoming a home, and slowly more and more rabbits showed up to be her new neighbors. It was then that the most miraculous thing happened! All of her new bunny friends were making her feel better. And it was then that she knew WHY she ended up in this town.

She stumbled upon this town so she could try to heal herself. So she set to work immediately: planting rows of flowers in as close a representation of the spectrum of a rainbow as possible, with a memorial in the center of town so she would always have a way to see her best friend.

And the flowers? It may not be the Rainbow Bridge, but it's the best she could do. And it shows that their hearts will always be connected.

(Sorry...I know that's depressing, but it IS the reason I made this town.)

It's not very elaborate but basically my town of Oranje is a town in Turkey that has some ruins from the Ottoman Empire but suffered from a lack of funding and so was underdeveloped. My mayor came in and decided to live there as a historical reenactor and helped develop the town to it's former glory. Along with her friend Yusuf (another reenactor), there are two nature djinnis that live there, one having an ocean themed resort while the other has a nature themed house. However no one known of their magical nature and thinks they're just regular humans. :p

My second town of Hillwood is based on the cartoon Hey Arnold. So basically Arnold decides to become mayor of the town as part of a adopt-a-mayor program. Arnold and three other kids are elected from their school to create a town and win the contest for their school. Helga goes because she wants to be with Arnold, and Sid and Lila are elected too. Arnold tries to be the best mayor he can be and tries to recreate his home town because he misses it a lot, while Helga tends to terrorize the villagers, while secretly pining for her love Arnold. :)

Hmm. . . I should really write a story like these for my town. So far I only have bits and pieces of fanon. For example, the new Mayor desperately tries to refuse their post because they've watched enough movies to know that letting people make a mistake about your identity is never a good idea. But after their resistance is shown to be utterly futile, they decide:

"You know what? Forget it. I'm never getting out of this mess. Besides, I can run this place better than any politician, anyway. After all, politicians are stupid!"

Also Porter is a bigot. What, my nose is funny looking? Racist jerk. >.>

Well, I've only thought of stuff like this when I try to write my ******** fanfiction, but I just assume that every Animal Crossing game takes place in the same town, and the Mayor is the same kid with the horn cap from many years ago.
