Your thoughts on Powersave 3DS?

I'd never use any cheating device with my main towns. It's not how I like to play, and I'd rather know I earnt everything myself with them.

However, this week there seems to have been a lot of breakthroughs on ACNL hacking, and I used my spare 3ds and town to check out some of the stuff that could do. (Mostly so a friend didn't brick their one and only town, I risked my redundant one.) And it was a really fun 2 hours tbh. Granted I doubt I'll ever connect that town to my main ones now. But I think I might make an amazing dream address out of that town now that I know I can do it in the space of a couple days.

Concerning how using a PowerSave interferes with how the game is supposed to be played... I don't think the developers had in mind players spending hours, days, or weeks obsessively plot-resetting.

This isn't like installing kneecappers on your car. If you find another way of enjoying the game that doesn't hurt others, what do I have to complain about? Especially when a game isn't well-designed and a third-party comes along with something that actually makes it more fun.

I think it's pretty neat you can get the wallpaper and flooring for some of the Main Street stores using a PowerSave.
