American flag/tackle football is the only sport I actively despise haha
I don't care for the super bowl, never have and never will. I do like sports and I will occasionally watch people play tennis or basketball, but I think football is lame and honestly confusing.
I grew up spending most of my time with my dad, who is a huge sports fan. So from actually before I can remember, I’ve been watching sports. I love sports, with basketball and football being my two favorites, followed by baseball. The Super Bowl (on its good years) is a whole package experience, it’s not just football. It’s the commercials, which let’s be fair, is half of the experience, because they’re downright hilarious, it’s the either amazing half time show, or mockery of a half time show, and it’s the experience of watching it with friends and/or family that make it fun. So, I voted for, “I love it all”.
I was rooting for the Philadelphia Eagles this time around, because of our personal tie to Philadelphia with our son. It was a bummer to see how the last few minutes unfolded.
Couldn't care less, especially for the half-time rubbish. I'm definitely not from the US but I don't get the sweaty shoulder-pad HANDball game stuff lol. I do enjoy watching some sports but this is not one of them.
I've never cared or understood the hype of the Super Bowl including the big Half Time Show and the special commercials that always seem to gain some buzz online.
I watch the Super Bowl every year for the game, commercials, halftime show, etc. I'm a big sports fan so I'd never miss it. The game this year was a great one. The commercials were lacking in my opinion with a few exceptions. The halftime show was fine but not better than last year and I'm not a big fan of lip synching. Still enjoyed the celebrating and great food along with family!
I used to watch just for the party aspect of it...but I haven't even done that in a few years. I don't care one bit about football, and definitely have better things to do. Even the commercials are obnoxious to me the older I get and more I think about all of the money and resources wasted on them.
Also, I think it's somewhat obvious that there are special interests who use things like the Super Bowl to broadcast their own views to the masses. - Heard there was a rather questionable advertisement for Christianity or something. I'm not surprised.
i’m not a football (or a sports in general) fan, so i’ve never watched it. i’ll sometimes watch the halftime show, but only if the artist/s interest me, and/or i hear good things about it. i never watch it live, though, and i don’t think i’ve watched one since bruno mars, beyonce and coldplay’s performance in 2016 (loved it). i haven’t watched rihanna’s yet, and i’m not sure if i will or not.
the commercials are cool as well, though i don’t tune in for those either. like the halftime shows, if there’s any cool ones, i’ll just watch them on youtube later.
