shovel and flimsy axe sure wish golden tools don't break. man life was easier in nl.
each time i need to collect wood resources, i make at least 8 flimsy axes. flimsy axe > golden axe.

I keep using flimsy axes (because I'm low on normal wood and I'm trying to save up). So I break so many gosh darn axes in a day. Luckily they are cheap to make and/or buy.

Use the stone axe instead!

axes, in particular flimsy axes...
it's all because i wanted to find a decent villager before the plot was taken lol. i ended up repeatedly hitting over 20 axes on a rock until they broke, to get an achievement that gave me enough miles for a single nmt -_-
i found scoot, but maybe the hassle wasn't worth it. normally you chop down trees with those things, not slam them against rocks _( :3 」∠)_

My most used tool is probably the shovel and the axe. I've been gifting my villagers with iron wall lamps daily so I need to rack up all the iron nuggets and clay I can get. I also like to keep a steady amount of regular wood that's why I've been chopping whenever I can.

I would say my most used tool is the stone axe, since I've gone through a ton of them to get wood off of trees. Behind that would be the shovel due to hitting rocks and digging up fossils and flowers and all that.

Fishing rod/stone axe, but I never seem to have a stone axe because it's basically always broken. I go through them so fast! Fishing is my favorite nighttime relaxation activity, so I go through lots of fishing rods too.

I'm thinking up my answer to this thread, but I just wanted to help with this-



When black roses get watered with a golden can, they keep that "memory" of being watered with golden until they make a golden rose (either by themselves or by breeding). Then you have to use the golden can again to get more golden roses. That's why you were getting gold with the elephant can, @/Opal<3, they probably were watered gold some time ago and hadn't made golden babies yet!

And another thing, forum-related this time, @/visibleghost (and anyone else as well) you can use the [plain][/plain] bb code to make your formatting appear raw, like [i]this is not italics[/i] for example. And it also works for emojis! This way ":o", ":)", or ":D" don't get automatically converted!

oooohhhhhh, thanks for all the information, i had literally no idea that that was how it worked. and thanks for the deemojifying tip, seems like a lot more to write so i'd rather just do this :'o hehe
