I'm thinking up my answer to this thread, but I just wanted to help with this-

you probably already know this but the reason you’re getting gold roses is because you’re using a golden watering can. i don’t know if you can get black roses after watering with a golden can but yeah...

i was using the elephant one because it's cute, i haven't used a gold one on them incase i did get gold roses

weird, i had no idea that you could get golden roses while using a different watering can

When black roses get watered with a golden can, they keep that "memory" of being watered with golden until they make a golden rose (either by themselves or by breeding). Then you have to use the golden can again to get more golden roses. That's why you were getting gold with the elephant can, @/Opal<3, they probably were watered gold some time ago and hadn't made golden babies yet!

And another thing, forum-related this time, @/visibleghost (and anyone else as well) you can use the [plain][/plain] bb code to make your formatting appear raw, like [i]this is not italics[/i] for example. And it also works for emojis! This way ":o", ":)", or ":D" don't get automatically converted!

I have a ridiculous amount of flowers which has littered my beach, so transporting them means I have to use like 200000 shovels a day. I'm redoing my island as well so moving the trees also destroys my shovel constantly.

definitely my shovel and watering can! I have almost every hybrid flower now, and I water my friends' flowers too so watering cans break so fast, and moving the flowers that grow and tat I don't need has cost me many, many shovels lol

I'm surprised to see so many shovels! It's been my favorite for all AC games! Fishing rods and bug nets count for a lot, but I think getting the shovel has always been the biggest moment in early game for me. Critters come and go, fossils and money rocks respawn once a day. Every day early game without a shovel is a bad day.

Shovel. Because it has the most utility out of all the tools. Digging up fossils, flowers, trees, clams, bells, and of course hitting rocks. I've also been going through lots of fishing poles because of shark season. Next month will be nets too because of stag season
