Bul, note the number I have in my post.

And for those who don't know, all those bands are metal.

I'll just list my all-time favorite, just because absolutely nobody knows about him, and I feel they should.

Bill Eager
http://billeager.com (the only album up right now is Coma Cluster, unfortunately)

He's a musician from Buffalo, NY that covers a huge range of genres, so I can't classify him under one. However, I suppose the majority of his work is folkISH? He's not famous or anything, but I absolutely adore this guy's talent and what he's done. Some people may be turned off by his voice, but to others, it's adds something great to his music.

Some samples:

Folkish: Little Cottage

"Piano Rock": Nested Doll

Rock: Apollo/Bacchus

Rap: Left Right

Solo Piano: Lonely Rolling Star (Yes, from Katamari)

Trance: Moonset

80's Hair Metal: Pollyanna (I Believe In You) (no he's not serious)

Slow Crunk (minor language warning): Blue Drank (...read above)

Last, but certainly not least... His greatest piece ever.

Hahahah, I'm sorry for that, and sorry for the long post, but this guy is really unknown, and I find that sad since he's so talented. If you guys like this stuff, I'll hook you up with more if you IM or PM me or something.
