What's the one song or tune from any Animal Crossing game that automatically makes you think of AC?

The 8 PM theme from City Folk and Wild World. Maybe because I play those games mostly during that hour.

The 10 p.m. theme of City Folk is a song that will never leave me. Anytime someone mentions the series I immediately think of it again.

7pm from new leaf. i always stood around doing nothing as a kid just to listen to it. i was surprised when i found out that some people find it creepy!

8pm from new leaf! it’s so calming, yet i always feel somewhat sad whenever it comes on. it reminds me of all the times i would try to hide my ds under my pillow as a kid.

My favorite is Forest Life. My last NH town I put speakers everywhere all over town so it would drown out the other music. Once in a while I'll have another one but mainly it's Forest Life.

So AC for me is K.K. Dirge as it's the one I remember most K.K. performing in GC. It sounded like he was singing "Oh emo meatball."

Okay I have to ask. Every single night, I turn on Animal Crossing music with light rain sounds behind it to fall asleep to. Am I the only person who does that or is it more common than I think?

8PM and 10PM from City Folk bring back good memories of playing on weekend evenings as a kid (sorry 9pm, you just don't hit the same)
There's another song from City Folk (though I associate this one more with Wild World) that I always think of when I think about these games long enough. But I can't remember what hour it is! I will find it and post later lol
Honestly the whole WW/CF hourly soundtrack is really solid.

I'm sure plenty of people do! I don't know about AC music, but I've fallen to sleep to video game music before. Hell I've fallen asleep to alt rock and videogame streams too LOL... I guess in that case the video game is the music and the streamer talking over it is the white noise

Overall, my top two favorite songs from Animal Crossing are the 7 AM and 5 PM songs from the GameCube Version. My favorite song to not be an hourly song is the Nook’s Cranny theme from the GameCube Version.
