#5 - phoenix wright (haven't played AJ or edgeworth though)
#4 - Mario RPG games (fave = SNES, then superstar saga, paper mario, and the rest just kinda tie)
#3 - Tony Hawk (before underground 2, so undeground 1 & previous, with underground being <3)
#2 - Kirby (super star SNES = <3)
#1 - Pokemon (fire red and diamond being faves)

honorable mentions: tetris, star fox, GTA, and plenty of other games that didn't have enough enjoyable entries to be considered a franchise. (R.I.P. chu chu rocket Q.Q)

#3: Mario (you can't beat Mario... except with #1 & 2)
#2: Pikmin: (I hear a third is coming out)
