I just had a major nostalgia moment. We are cleaning out my brother's room today to give away most toys because we are both old now. I am an adult and he is well in his teens... I was helping not without some severe nostalgia putting all those toys into bags, when I stumbled upon my absolute FAVORITE childhood toys.
My 7 dinosaurs... I was almost in tears when I found them. Needless to say they came back home with me, no way in hell I'll be giving them away ever.
I played with those dinosaurs SO much. In the bath tub, at the park, in my room... I usually brought my favorite (the triceratops) to school with me, when most other little girls brought beanie babies or dollies.
I built whole lego or playmobil cities just to have my team of dinos destroy it.
They were so big and heavy for me at the time, I tried to carry all at once and always dropped them on my toes, it hurt like hell.
Man this brought back memories.

Here they are:

So, what are YOUR favorite childhood toys? Do you still have them? Do you miss them?

Not the kind of heartwarming story you might expect, but whatever.

Mine is a plush of a white baby seal. It was given to me on the day of my birth and I slept with it for years, cherishing it. My ex-girlfriend also liked it a lot, because I always had it lying around in my room. I never wanted to clean it up, even though I was like 16 at the time my ex started liking it.

It was a gift from my biological father. He's somebody that I've never known and honestly don't want to know. He was an abusive father (especially towards my older half-sister), a cheat, and a liar. Somebody I can only look down upon. Somebody I've aspired to become the opposite of.

The plush holds a lot of sentimental value for me, because even though my father was and still is a ****ing jackass, it tells me that even those bad people have some good in them. It's a token of the one good thing about him, and probably the thing my mother fell in love with. The plush is the only part of my father that I care to know about.

One is a very small brown dog. A tomagatchi came with him and the clasp attached to his belly, so it was like you had the plush of your pet, along with the tomagatchi. I have no idea what happened to the tomagatchi, I'm sure the battery died and was thrown away by accident, but I still have the plush that came with it. His name is Brownie (I was like 5, names weren't my specialty at the time.) I wonder if anyone else had the same one though, or knows what I'm talking about. :D

I also had Hot Wheels, looooved my Hot Wheels, and my Legos. I'm not sure if a N64 counts as a childhood toy, but it encompassed my life starting at age 6, so I'd like to think so. Just a few of my favorite things.

Baby Annabell & Polly Pocket.

When I was little, I also collected Go go's Crazy Bones for some reason.

I used to collect the original ones, Shamefully lost them at my Grandma's house, haha.

I had a bunch of favorites but I guess my favorites would be my Mario Plushies (I used to take my Toad one everywhere) shamefully I lost that on a residential school trip and they no longer were selling them, I was so sad for days but I had to accept it was gone ;-;

So I just had to cuddle up with the next best thing, my Wario one.

I got him May 22nd 1992 (4 days old) from my late grandfather. His name is Fatcat. He went with me everywhere as a kid. :)

I had a small plushy barney heck I even had a barney themed party when I was two. It was my favorite plushy until I discovered the game-boy and video games that I forgot about him.

I had this octopus my uncle bought me and it taught me how to tie shoelaces and crap because each tentacle had buttons and velcro and laces or something.

OH and a pumpkin puppet I creatively named Pumpkiny and made up stories about. He's a history teacher in a massive futuristic but centuries old school and gets flustered easily and has a deep friendship with the school nurse. Who is Medicine Ducky. Who played the straight man role. He is extremely powerful. Both of them.

fun stuff.

Jungle Kitty!
Just looked up where she came from, the toys are called Kitty Kitty Kittens, with mine coming from the Kitty Kitty Jungle Kittens line. Guess I wasn't very good at naming things at 3 years old. I think I got her from my brother on my third birthday, she still sits on top of my dresser.

Picture is not mine but this is the one I have.

I had this dragon egg thing that had a dragon toy inside if you opened it but I never did and acted like I was a momma dragon waiting for her baby to hatch. I brought that **** everywhere

I loved Dinosaurs too!!! I was that kid who was forever dragging people to the fossils section in the local museum :P

Hmmm my favourite toy is tricky cause I was forever changing my mind and wanting something new, I have fond memories of sylvanian families, and my sky dancer!! ^^

Edit: Oh and does anyone in the UK remember the Animal Hospital toys? I think you could "x-ray" the animals etc, I had hours of fun with that range.

I had this stuffed dog called pony. I still have her at my parent's house. Her neck is about to fall off.

I used to loveee polly pockets and I'm really angry my mom threw em all out cos I still really love them. My bro and I went through a lot of toy phases. We used to play with spin tops and when the string types went out of fashion we played with the ones when you pull the plastic cord thing. I also remember playing a lot of marble games and chinese checkers ... oh yea and crazy bones lol.

Gameboy, and literally any pokemon merchandise, for SURE

And Ms. Kitty, my very first stuffed animal
