Over the last two/three days, I've been plot-resetting an incoming villager into my new town.
So far, I'm not accepting any of the would-be locations (the attempts) because it goes against the pattern flow I've presented with paths. (It's like a template.) I don't want the house plot being one or two (north or south and/or east and west) slots from where I'm accepting new villager houses.
I'm not at this for too many hours in a given day. In fact, I haven't done any of it yet today [Saturday, 08.16.2014]. I recently wrote a blog post about this game badly in need of "Zoning Control." (And "Animal Crossing" knows this.)
So, I want to ask these two questions:

So, I want to ask these two questions:
1) What is the longest you're ever spent plot-resetting an incoming villager's house before finally accepting?
2) Is there a time limit (like in days) for which "Animal Crossing: New Leaf" will allow a player to do this? (I'm willing to let it go a week or so if I figure it's necessary.)
