Hi everyone,

I've always loved animal crossing and have always felt the struggle of wanting my dream town and characters.
Recently I've picked up a 3ds xl and did some googling and found out if i do certain things I can edit my town. It took me 3 days of troubleshooting and trial and error to finally get it working and I now have the ability to get any villager i want and also to put them in boxes at will.
Because of this i feel the need to try and help others in getting their dream villagers as I am so happy now with my current town. I signed up to this forum specifically for this reason.
So this is where the giveaway comes in.

The rules are that you just reply to this thread with your dream character by Sunday 9th 5PM GMT(this is subject to change depending on the amount of replies i get) and you will be entered into a draw. I will put everyone's name in a random name generator and the three that get chosen will be able to have their dream characters given to them.

Yes it is haha i'm so happy the 3ds was compatible because apparently its really hard to find ones that work.

It says items that are duplicated, hacked or powersaved but villagers aren't items so surely they don't follow those rules? Plus its for free so it's not like i'm gaining anything from it haha

I think 'items' is used as a term to include everything in the game.
Like I said, it's nice that you're doing it for free but I think hacked anything aren't allowed on here to keep it fair to everybody.
Also, if everyone was able to get everything they wanted straight away they would lose interest in the game, as it's essentially about collecting, and therefore lose interest in this website also.

but then it says

so if items meant everything why would they state bells items or villagers are not allowed to be traded with money instead of just items?

We can't prevent that, the only thing we don't want people doing is selling/trading/buying/auctioning/giving away etc hacked items/bells/villagers on the forum. We know it happens, we're not blind to it but we just don't want that stuff on the forum because it can ruin peoples games. If a person wishes to back up their game, they're more than welcome to. If they wish to hack, they're more than welcome to. They're just not allowed to give out their hacked items through the forum.

Definitely think they just use 'items' in the rules as a term to apply to everything in-game.
