The best villager friend of my mayor in my main town would probably have to be Pietro. He and my mayor are next door neighbors, and he's among my favorite of all possible villagers. Combine the proximity, his unique design, and his Smug personality (my favorite male personality) and it all just works as far as I'm concerned.

The best friend of my mayor in my circus/magic show-themed town is Tiffany. I love her design and her Snooty personality, and I look at her as the assistant of my mayor because of the magic trick of a magician pulling a rabbit out of their hat.

Neither of my other two towns really have a best friend villager for my mayors. I just kind of like all of the residents and don't have any reasons in mind that are as apparent as the examples provided.

I've said it before and I'll say it again but I've been blessed when Lucky was in my new town after years of fawning over him. His design is just so perfect and Lazy villagers are my fav.

My current Bestie is Bruce. He has already given me his pic soo yeah enough said. Also he is one of my favs so it was kinda easy for him to warm up to me...I kept bugging him every time I saw him.

It has to be Keaton. It?s hard to choose because I?m pretty much besties with a lot of villagers in my current town (Lyman & Static), but Keaton says the nicest and sweetest things! And you can?t just force these bestie moments, it just happens. He had a birthday recently too and even though it was difficult to find his best gifts, I gave him a good gift & still he liked it very much and he?s just so appreciative. He was the first villager to invite me over too when I started the town even though he isn?t one of the original villagers and I was shocked that he just sold me the ice cream display when he asked if I like something. Of course, I ordered the furniture for him again and try to keep his house original or in his theme.

I love so many of my villagers. Jeremiah isn't in my town right now, but I had him for 3 years, and plan to move him back in. Mitzi has been in my town since a few months after I started it (4 years), and I love her to death. Kabuki and Tom are both cranky villagers but I've had them both for 2 years or so and I also love them. I've had Shari for a year or so and I like her, but I'd say she's my least favorite out of my favorites. Avery, Fauna, Pecan, and Genji are all fairly new, but I also really like them.

In my main town it's Pudge. He's been with me since the creation of the town and he's also my next door neighbour. Dizzy is my favourite villager but I got him back in my town a couple months ago and I haven't played as much since then so we're not on that BFF level yet lol. It's funny coz both Pudge and Dizzy placed their obnoxious houses right next to my mayor's house (plot resetting mistakes u_u) in my "secluded forest" but now I love seeing them around.
