The thing is, this "swine" flu isn't really named correctly. The actual virus is a mix of two strains of swine flu, one strain of avian(bird) flu and one strain of human flu so calling it swine flu isn't really accurate. It also gets people thinking you can catch it from pigs or by eating pork which isn't the case. It's an airborne virus that you get from breathing it in or touching an surface with the virus on it and putting your hand into your mouth or on your eyes.

There are a lot of people infected with it now but most are mild and recover quickly. It's Mexico that had the worst of it imo.

How can I get over something that I never really cared about in the first place?

Watch this virus take off again during the next flu season and everyone will ignore all the warnings because they got scared by so many false alarms that they stopped paying attention to them.

the swine flu is still around and hasnt "died" down... its "died" down only cuz people are not reporting on it anymore. Just cuz it isnt being reported all the time doesnt mean its "died" down

In Brewster's Cafe there is another thread about swine flu. I think its something to be informed and cautious about.
