  • Your hard work restoring The Bell Tree on April Fools' Day has paid off! A commemorative Shiny Ditto Easter Egg has now appeared in the Shop for 99 Bells.

You know you're addicted to ACNL when....

when you drop leaves in your house, expecting it to turn into furniture
when you shake a tree hoping for money to fall out
when you come up with an exchange rate of bells for dollars (or whatever currency)
when you add a random catchphrase at the end of sentences
when you see a balloon and cursing yourself for not having a slingshot on hand

The last one; I literally... that's so me...

When you...
- Have dreams about Animal Crossing
- Have your entire house drawn up on graph paper with what furniture goes where, whether it's customized or not, etc.
- Have lists on your phone of all of your villager's garden arrangements & coffee preferences
- Pull out your 3DS to play Animal Crossing whenever everyone in your group of friends is on their phone

I'm sure there are more obsessive tendencies I'm forgetting... I make a LOT of lists.

EDIT: When I first started my town, I also blew up my town map, printed it out, and divided it into 10 sections for each different fruit tree...

omg. xD i am not alone.

When you buy 4 copies and 3 other 3DS systems so you can make sure you reach the 1,000 streetpass tags, plus while looking over the combined playtime realize it totals over 3,000 hours, and you learned more Japanese playing tobidase doubutsu no mori than you ever did in a textbook, then wake up after dreaming ideas of your town, and implement them into the town.

sometimes when i sleep, i think im in the dream suit, and visiting my town. u_u

i have the desire to plan and garden my whole place at home. to raid the whole place with tulips.

When you learn about new bugs, fish and plants all thanks to Animal Crossing.

When a friend says something mildly offensive and you respond with "Get out of my town! I'm the mayor and you need to leave now."

Bonus points if your friend who knows nothing of AC replies, when told not to do something, "What, will the mayor of Bunville kick me out??"

LOL, if only it were so easy to actually kick villagers out....>_< Everyone in my town has pinged recently, EXCEPT the ones I want out.
