Mario Galaxy is a great game. It really is, think about it. I don't know why some people bash it, It has simply amazing music, it has better graphics and visuals than any other Mario game, the levels are great, and it can get really challenging to get all 200 something stars on Mario and Luigi, I think it deserves to be called the best (and most hardcore) Wii game Nintendo themselves has made.

Galaxy 2 looks like the first one but with different worlds and power ups.

Most remakes arent as awesome as the original because it is the second coming of some epic idea, by that i mean the idea is still fresh and fun but isnt brand new so it isnt equally good as the original. most remakes are actually pretty decent.

I mean Galaxy was decent Good levels challening GREAT AWESOME MUSIC!!! But still I dont agree with it being the best I think Mario and Luigi RPG3 was better the only flaw was it dident save after the end so like most Mario rpgs its not playable after you get to the boss -_- :'( That was the only flaw in my Eyes

Unfortunately, being nominated the most hardcore game for Wii isn't all the flattering when you think about it.
I mean, the only competition Galaxy faces is No More Heroes, Metroid, and Zelda.

I second this, although the Wii is starting to pick-up the pace thanks to the 3rd party developers who bring out games like Dead Space: Extraction, Monster Hunter 3, Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom and Muramasa. There's a lot more, but you get the point. I also think that it's a pretty bad sign that the main blockbuster titles are all made by one company.

I found Galaxy boring compared to 64 and Sunshine, but it's still probably in the top 3 Wii games out there.

I didn't like it that much really. Graphics and music isn't everything a game need.
Hope the sequel will be better.
