Apple has released iOS 4.0.2 for iPod Touch and iPhone users in order to fix an old PDF exploit that could allow a remote attacker to gain control of the devices. Anyway Apple did such a great job in fixing the security hole that even after upgrading iPhone 3G users can use Redsn0w to jailbreak their devices.
Security experts said that this PDF exploit is very dangerous, however, Comex decided to release the source code, fact which drew a lot of negative reaction from the media and iPhone users to the Dev Team. The thing is that Apple should have fixed this entirely and did you know that Redsn0w uses this security hole to jailbreak the iPhone 3G and iPod Touch G2?
