So expensive...
How do all you guys manage to get so many collectibles and so many tbt's? lol...

One of a few ways: get lucky and grab them from the Shop, you have a shop of your own to sell some kind of service for TBT bells so you can save up to buy items from other users, people simply give the items to you, or exchanging in-game bells for TBT bells.

Choco cake + blue candy + 6 k is my last offer.

I understand that you value most your letter that my offer :) But right now is what I can offer, since I already have in my possession the yellow letter. I like to buy, trade, sell ...

If you want to wait a few days if you get a better offer for my part there is no problem. I will continue my offer and if I change my mind, I'll let you know in advance, no problem :) Take the time you need.

Thanks witch, its a good offer, I will definitely decide to accept or decline by the time you are next on.

I can tell you how i have my tbt although it isnt a big stash like some of thesse guys. :) Back in the day when the ingame to tbt exchange rate was 300,000 to 100 tbt, i bought some. So basically i was lucky in timing (although at the time i thought it was exprnsive so i didnt buy that much).

I use to cycle (no thread though) and i gave away villagers. Most of the time it was completely free, but once in a while someone would ask, would you like anything. I would let them know i wouldnt object to tbt and they would tip me anywhere between 50-100 tbt. That was a big chunk actually, people being nice and tipping. Then the most recent restock i was able to grab a few extras, and sold those (although i ended giving a lot away and/or selling at rates WAY lower then lassys guide... Lol i dont think i got the lassy guide price once!).

Hmm... I sold a few ingame rares for tbt (no shop, just individual basis). That was a big chunk. I cant think of anything else though. It took me a long time. If you have the ingame bells, i think the fastest way is to trade it for tbt bells. I never had that much ingame bells so that was not an option for me.

I am a much newer member so did not get TBT before the rapid rise in value (or maybe just did not notice it because it took months before I realized what the TBT Marketplace is about), but similar to you I have gotten several 100 TBT donations by people who got a villager for free from me in my cycling topic.

Also, I am just fortunate to have a friend here who gave me numerous collectibles for free just because with the expectation I use them to get more valuable collectibles. Relatedly, I have gotten several collectibles for free from other generous individuals: the Classic Easter Egg from Ryan88 (hosted a giveaway where the winner was whoever posted a picture of whatever food he was thinking of), the Togepi Easter Egg from PrayingMantis10 (posted in my 'Ask Zulehan' topic asking which easter egg I wanted, and after answering he donated it, oh my, God), the 森 and Regular Easter Egg from Maruchan, and the ぶ from someone who wanted to remain anonymous.

Finally, most recently, somebody donated almost 4000 TBT to me just because she felt like donating, and for some reason I was the first person to come to mind.

I imagine that when I am an 'older' member here a lot of this will accumulate so other members would wonder how I got so much TBT. Just as micro-transactions made from you can soon eat away what you have stashed up, so micro-transactions given to you can soon give you a fortune.

(Not replying to any one person, but adding to what Skyfall said about how someone might accumulate so much TBT.)

I was one of the first few people who started selling dreamies for TBT, however because the rate of 100 tbt to ingame bells were so low, I sold dreamies for 2,000 tbt. I accumulated over 60,000TBT this way. And then I was able to catch a restock and bought another set of japanese letters and sold that later on. At one point, I had over 90,000 TBT until I bought a bunch of pokemon x/y game download codes.

Wow, 90,000... Only in my dreams! :). I am lucky if i am over 20,000 on any given day.

Anyways guys, i accepted Witch's offer, so I will close thread now. Thanks for looking!
