I've been at this for 3 hours and I only got the front of my train station done (sans hibiscus plants). I have so many holes in the ground for plants, I should change my town's name to Holeyland.

Haha yeah, I was always surprised at how many bushes people used to buy at the Retail sub-forum and then I started landscaping lol.
I've been at it for a week now and not close to done but I am taking my time. Take it little by little and it'll be done before you know it :)~

LOL yeah, before I've never given much thought about the landscaping I just planted stuff all willy nilly but then seeing people's pictures about their towns with the various fruit trees and bushes and I started caring more about how my town look. I've never used the QR machine much before either. This is time consuming but I know it's going to be worth it in the end.

Here is how it looks so far.

Those flowers near town hall are probably not going to stay there.

I'm kind of addicted to landscaping after taking 3 months doing nothing but in my new town. It's so much work. It feels so bad when you change your mind and start over am area sometimes hah hah.

I find landscaping incredibly relaxing.. I like taking my time with it, planting trees here and there, and just doing a bit a few days at a time. It's a lot of work, but it's satisfying to see your town grow and become beautiful :D

It's exciting seeing all those starts. Cause in three days your town goes from untouched to suddenly full of life ~
I love landscaping, and though it's frustrating it's rewarding even more so

Yeah it's fun and kept me busy today. I'm about to go back to it. I took a break to eat dinner and rest up. Now back to the island for more hibiscus.

I was the same as you thinking landscaping was going to be super easy and quick.

...That was 2 months ago and I've done about 35% of my town. At least it's something I really enjoy doing.

I always collect bushes and trees, but I never have enough for my whole town! -.-
And when I think that I'm finally happy with my town and the landscaping, after some month I hate the layout, cut all the trees and bushes and start over again. ARGH!

It's taken me a year and I only have my upper left side of my town fully completed -.-
I need to have all my PWP's before I can get rid of my only cranky (Peewee) and get some villagers that fit with my towns theme

I just recently really began landscaping my town too and I totally get what people meant when they said it takes a lot of time and effort. I never really landscaped my town, just put flowers/hybrids down and that was about it. But this time I'm placing trees and bushes very specifically and such. And oh boy is it ever a headache. Especially when things don't grow and you have to try again a spot over or something.

And I have also been spending a ton of tbt and igb on saplings and bushes. I never understood when people would bulk buy them in the past but oh do I now!

Oh wow, that is a lot of bushes. That should look cool when they all grow. I never know what to do with my town. I mostly just try to make hybrids because I like the blue and purple ones.

Gosh yes. My town was so bare and the day after I put a bunch of starts down, suddenly it looked soo much more organized. I love it a lot.
