It's been having issues since Christmas, due to a huge number of new sign-ups and a larger number of concurrent users. Hooray for an increased player base, however the problems are probably more frustrating than if XBL was down altogether.

At least we've been promised a free XBLA game.

I was trying to get a CoD4 game going for like...30 minutes until I just gave up.

Since I am a bit of a n00b to Xbox still, I've got to ask, what does XBLA stand for? Xbox Live Arcade? I'm thinkin' that's it...
