Those chaining ways aren't new accept maybe Chain fishing, I am not sure about that one. There are not really any new ways that I can tell. The item from the last games would be good to have. Masuda method is the only one I'd ever try and that still takes forever. Chaining is really tedious and annoying so I'll leave that to the fanatics.

Then how come nobody talked about them before X and Y? Shiny searching is starting to seem like a come-and-go fad to me then.
