After a TON of grinding I FINALLY pulled Roccia's weapon, and boy is it amazing. Didn't know this thing has Crit Rate as its sub either. : O

Her stats in general looking pretty great now. I may try to add a bit more Crit Dmg, but for now I'm satisfied with this. ​

Here's the latest song focused on Roccia. I REALLY loved her story quest in this game and this song made me like her as a character even more. Hope everyone's enjoying this game! < 3​

So I took the plunge and spent for Jinhsi's remaining wavebands. It helped that she was already at w1 for me, so I didn't have to go through as many pulls to accomplish it. I'm really happy about it though considering she's my favorite character in the game and has been since she was introduced.

This 10-pull was REALLY funny though, as I wasn't expecting it. I believe this is my first double 5* 10-pull in the game. It's unfortunate that the other one was Lingyang considering how bad he is, but oh well. ​

I am pretty excited for this new update! I think I really want to pull for Phoebe but I was kind of hoping she'd be in phase 2 instead of phase 1 so I could have more time to save astrites. I guess we will see how I feel once she releases, i'm kind of hoping she won't need her weapon because what's causing me to not have a good saving cushion of astrites is some of the characters need their weapon more than others. She looks so fun to play! I'm excited either way. The events look fun the story looks good!

Can't believe I predicted correctly that we'd get Hologram Hecate next, LOL. Going to be interesting to see if I can clear that one. These next banners look nice, but they're most likely skips for me since I already have well-defined teams now. Mainly just waiting for Zani to appear. Apparently she may not arrive until 2.3, which is a bummer.

So I got super lucky and did one singular ten pull and I got Phoebe! I told myself I would pull for her but I would not spend for her if I could not get her. I really like her design and I do like her gameplay though I do have to get more comfortable with it (honestly it's because I am still getting used to the PS5 controllers compared to playing it on the computer like I was doing before.) I do not think I will pull for her weapon.. I've heard that there is a good four star weapon for her that you can get from an event happening this patch so I plan on doing that.

The story quest was a lot of fun! I liked learning more about the lore and I loved the train echo I thought it was such a fun part of the quest to pretend to be riding on a train.

I don't think I will pull for anyone in the next phase.

Since no one else is going to talk about it, I just wanted to say this permanent fishing event and story has been ABSOLUTELY fantastic. Wuthering Waves knocked it out of the park with this feature in 2.1, just like they did with flight in 2.0. I've completed the story and am closing in on level 12 fame already, and have most of the fishing abilities unlocked. Glad that they did justice to something that's done on the waves.

I got Phoebe on a single pull, she wouldn't replace Jinhsi as my "main" main though. But she looks cute and aesthetically pleasing.

Welp, I am now one premium request reset away from 100%'ing the fishing event in this game. That was a lot of fun! I have to say they really knocked it out of the park with this event, and it was super therapeutic too. Miles better than fishing in Genshin Impact or Zenless Zone Zero, lol.

Also decided I'm going to continue saving my pulls for either Brant or Cantarella. I'd REALLY like to pull Cantarella so I can pair her with Roccia and Camellya, and put Verina back on my Jiyan team. and then just yeet Baizhi off the face of the Earth.

I 100% the Whimpering Wastes event today, thereby finishing all of the events in the update. It was pretty fun, and not too difficult either. Still just saving my pulls for Cantarella at this point, I can't wait for her to release. ​

The resonator combat showcase for phase 2 Brant is out now. Seems to be a GREAT support for Changli and makes her relevant again.

Personally, I REALLY love Brant as a character, but I don't think I'll be pulling him because Cantarella comes out next patch, and I'd rather save my Astrites for her.

Oof I need to get back to this game. Just been very preoccupied with a bunch of stuff the past few months and just plain tired from my personal problems that in general I stopped playing games for a good amount of time. Wuthering Waves is one of the few free to play games I immensely enjoy, even though I fall behind. I'll have to work on getting back to it this week.

I just finished Brant's story quest and UGHHHHHHH I want to pull him so badly and technically have enough funds to proc a 5*, but I know it'd be a waste because I don't use my Changli that much, and saving for Cantarella will be way more worth it for me in the long run. Sorry, Brant...

Ended up taking the plunge and pulling Brant. I REALLY love him as a character and my heart said no to skipping every character this patch, lol. Plus I already have Changli and her weapon, so now I have another reliable team centered around Fusion.

Got him on my very last 10-pull and then spent for his weapon. My very first Dragon of Dirge 4 cost rolled amazingly good subs as well, with triple crit and energy regen among the subs. Brant overall is looking really good for me stats-wise and I'm loving his healing and shielding as well.

AHH my fists were clenched so hard i was nervous. love that i got brant hes one of my fave characters im hyperventilating
he his currently 80/291 crit rate/dmg with 260% energy recharge. very easy to build only took me a few minutes
