today I decided to do a full town make-over so I started removing all the qr code paths I had, and while I was doing so Kyle was walking by me and everything was normal, and then JUST like that he got mad and was steaming! there was NOBODY around us so he can't be mad from arguing with another villager and he can't be mad from "thinking" because he was just walking around alone and there were no pitfalls either, and when I talked to him he said he doesn't even know why he's mad. was it really because I was removing paths in front of him, I thought villagers don't even know those paths exist? I find it strange and kinda shocking as it was the first time I've ever seen him like this, was it a glitch?.....

well the game doesnt really acknowledge patterns on the ground, only when you try to put things on top so it cant have been that
villagers have feelings too ok. they get mad/sad/whatever randomly like humans

no i dont really know whats wrong with him

Fell in a pitfall.
Argued with a villager.

Just cause no one is around doesn't mean someone wasn't there. They might have skipped off happily.

I thought so, so I went looking but there was nobody, and there were no pitfalls, either....

Are you sure you weren't pushing him?

I never push my villagers...

Villagers can have very sudden mood changes.

I saw Bob one time and he was really happy, he was dancing & had the music notes around him. I turned away for about half a minute to water some flowers and I saw him all gloomy with the purple swirls around him, and when I talked to him he was super depressed.

Sometimes villagers just have these mood fluctuations, just like people do in real life. They just need their space when this happens. :)

Huh that's odd, usually that never happens.

I would assume that there's a hidden pitfall somewhere obscured by the trees and bushes.

it was a sudden mood change, as in he was walking normally in front of me and then bam he's mad...
and there were no pitfalls...

Huh, that's funny, sudden mood changes were in the original on Gamecube as well.

There, villagers will get mad or sad randomly whenever they get stuck on something.
And they usually blame you on that.

hmm I decided to lock this thread because I got my answer but for some reason I can't as there is no "lock this thread" option, weird....

There should be when you type a new reply? There should be a little check box near the "show your signature" one. ^^

Threads in some certain boards can't be locked, like the ACNL one for example.
