wtf....??? Has this happened to anyone before?

Okay so i have been trying to plant a tree in a spot (its not a deadspot, as far as im aware, and its not next to anything) but every morning when i go to check its completely gone, and there is no dead sapling. This started befor ei updated the game, so its not a new glitch. What the heck? does anyone know what this is or why its happening?

If it's a cedar sapling you can only plant those on the top half of your town.

It's possible you already have too many trees planted. If it's a cedar, they can only be planted on the northern part of the map.

Don't cedars wilt rather than disappear? There may be something special about that spot that causes trees to glitch out or something.

I know, its very strange. I have been playing for a while, so i know the do's and don'ts of trees, but for some reason it just vanishes the next morning, i think it must be a glitch...
