Just a heads up, there was a recent thread for the 711 set and it went for 8 mil.

A lot of the items you're asking for go for a ton more than you're willing to pay. I don't think you'll be able to find anyone willing to sell you things like the Saharah pieces for less than 250k or DLCs for less than 500k, depending on what they are.

I can let you catalog if I can catalog somethings I'm looking for.

Meh... Seriously, ripoffs are annoying. Mostly looking for catalogable stuff. I will buy your wallpaper, how much?

It's not really a ripoff since a lot of those items are region exclusives or hard to find.

Yeah, the rarity is a detractor, but this is genuinely what they're worth. Do you have the best buy DLC?

Why do people pay so much for things that can be reordered? I guess I'm luck, I went to Japan and StreetPassed over a hundred of people in just 2 days. I have lots of the Japanese DLC that is reorder-able. Also people can make friend with Japanese players and traded. So why pay millions of bells?? How do you even get so many bells?!?

Yeah, I have quite a few of the items you're asking for. But the prices you're willing to pay are no where near fair in my opinion, since everything usually goes for more than 100x what you're offering.

I'm talking about all the items that aren't reorderable.

OH I see. But how do people even get so many bells?? I'm still paying off my house! :o
duplicating crowns bettle farming in the island, selling turnips, setting a shop in the forums.

Do you want to let me catalog them then?

They aren't orderable, but I could still let you catalog for the sake of completing your catalog

Basically everything Farobi said + selling villagers will get you a ton of bells depending on who it is.

If you can duplicate these items, then I see no reason why the price is so high! Just multiply their selling price by four, then you have the price that they would be. Simple. Wow, sounding like a jerk, sorry. But... Does anybody in the thread have any catalogable items?

Duplicating is banned on this forum, and is basically cheating. Doesn't stop people from doing it anyway.
The reason the price for something such as the 711 set is so high, is because it's a Japan exclusive DLC that required you to go to a 711 store several times to get all the items during the limited time they were available. It's very hard to come across a set due to that, so a price of 8mil+ is actually really fair.

I have the sporty wall, box sofa, candy jar, classic clock, display shelf, papa bear, paper lantern, red vase (and blue vase if you want that too) and the small spotlight. How much for all of that?

A few things.

1) You can make a lot of bells by selling turnips. But don't sell them in your town for meager profits. Look on these boards and you'll find people with a turnip spike. I usually sell my turnips at 500+ bells at other peoples' towns and make millions every time I do it.

2) You don't necessarily have to spend millions to get rare stuff. You just have to have stuff you can trade other people. I found someone who had the 7-11 set who really, really wanted the mermaid set. I traded her mine (plus some other stuff) for the whole 7-11 set. I was probably lucky there, but I've seen other good deals crop up from time to time. Also, search the Re-Tail threads to find people who want stuff that you have. *Especially* people outside of your region. For example, if you're in Europe, that means you have access to European holiday items and European DLC. You can sometimes find people from outside of your region who will want your European-only items for their (insert region) items. You can also find kind souls on the days of a holiday who open up their town for anyone to come in and get the holiday item *for free*.

I've gotten a bunch of the non-orderable things and I've never paid millions of bells for them. I have gotten them all for fair trades or from the kindness of people letting me visit for free. This requires checking the forums almost daily to find these things though...
