Wrong clothes in sherb's wardrobe?

I was in sherb's house and i opened his wardrobe and i found... the clothing i gave static? he hasnt worn any of those items but they just showed up. why the hell did that happen? it's interesting.

This is a glitch where villagers have other villagers clothing, not sure if this can be fixed or not but I've seen others comment about this

Did you gift these to someone else? It's seems that villagers can gift each other clothing (at least thats my interpretation probably just a bug tho)

Whenever I go to Judy's house, she only has Marshal's clothes in her drawer and vice versa. I believe it's some kind of weird glitch.

the same thing happened to me!! sherb has flurrys clothes (and her umbrella!!) in his closet lol
it's just a harmless glitch I guess, also thought it was funny haha

I noticed this too! I had gone to Julian’s house and Snake was visiting. Julian’s wardrobe specifically contained Snake’s clothes, none of which I have ever seen Julian wear so I know Snake didn’t gift them to him somehow. I thought it was somehow linked to the fact that Snake was visiting but then I went to Reneigh’s house and she was alone but had Julian’s clothes in her closet! Luckily it seems to be pretty much just a visual glitch since they still wear all the right things.

its good to hear that they dont actually end up wearing each others clothing. its a pretty funny glitch to have.

Yup I looked into some of my male villagers wardrobes, only to find dresses and stuff I gave to other villagers. It was pretty hilarious but yeah I think it's a glitch.

Same has happened to me. I have Sydney and looked in her wardrobe and she has a bunch of clothes I’ve never seen her wear but have seen Sherb wear
