Wrapping paper

I wanted to enquire if anyone knew about whether wrapping gifts using wrapping paper before sending them in letters to your villagers makes any difference to not wrapping them. Does it increase your chances of receiving a gift in return does it improve your relationship more than an unwrapped gift.

The reason I ask is because of the tedious method of acquiring wrapping paper. Everytime you go to buy wrapping paper either Timmy or Tommy will ask you if you need an explanation on how to use the item. This for some reason really gets on my nerves hence if it doesn't actually make a difference I don't have to sit through this conversation everytime I want to send a gift.

I have never sent my villagers wrapped presents, and I imagine most people don't either. I don't believe it makes a difference because I almost always get a positive response/present back.

you get a gift in return either way. I always send gifts in letters without wrapping them and still receive gifts. I'm not sure if anyone else has ever not received a gift before in that situation. I only really wrap presents for decorative purposes :x

The only time I ever wrap presents is for a villager's birthday and I'm attending their party. I don't bother wrapping gifts for letters.

Hooray! Just the response I had hoped for now I can stop having Timmy and Tommy ask me if I know how to use something I've literally just bought and told them I do two seconds beforehand.

Yeah I only wrap presents to display around town or if I'm giving something to another person. For villagers I just never bothered. I always get a nice response back and my friendships seem to grow pretty quickly anyway just from villager requests. Don't think sending them a wrapped presents makes a difference

Used the wrapping paper for their early birthday, Christmas and Easter Gifts when I send mail.

The rest of the time I just added the gift. Getting how to use the wrapping paper is very annoying when you are in a hurry.

I only use wrapping paper for villager's birthdays, and gifts for other players.

I figured since it was already in a present in a letter that I didn't bother to send letters with wrapped gifts.
