That's just rude of them... I had an experience on Nookazon where I was selling someone a full inventory of hybrids, and when I was almost through dropping them off, he had a friend come over so it saved and then he dc'd and ghosted me. I know I should've dced when I saw the guy joining, but I was naive and thought nahhh.

I'd rather give every flower away than lose one to a person like that

I’ve never been scammed or damaged nearly as badly as what you described, but I’ve been ghosted or otherwise disrespected by people who blatantly disregard my rules as a host. There have been a few interactions in the AC Internet trading world that have made me want to unplug my router and fling it through a window.

But you know what? I hope you have a great birthday. Remember that it’s easy to be a butt on the Internet because we can’t see the human being on the other end. This person’s behavior was disgusting and downright cowardly. You might feel loss, but they did not win.

It’s hard to keep people accountable out here. It’s a game, but it’s also something you put a lot of time, effort, and possibly money into, so it’s something worth caring about. I have a free entry diy trade party sometimes with a lot of recipes to..well..trade...just like it's in the name. I always try to keep an eye on what's happening and one time I had someone just taking them without placing new ones. There were 3 people and I didn't know who did it. 1 person stand by me to block the exit when I said that it's a trade party, not a pick-as-much-as-you-want party. But both other persons were claiming they did not steal and wanted to leave.

Only solution was to turn of the switch to create a communication error. I felt so sorry for the 2 persons not stealing, but I had to get the recipes back to trade. Nobody wants only wooden chairs or beds or the 100th bamboo toy I need those ironwood, beekeepers hive and tiny library stuff to get some good trades to complete my diy's.

So luckily I was right on time. But don't let one person ruin your game. I know it sucks, but remember most people are not like that.

Oh and happy birthday ofcourse I have to leave for work now, but maybe later I can bring you some bells to make your birthday fun again

You are all probably the kindest people I've had the good fortune to encounter. Rather than let the thief who stole from me ruin my day, I'll make sure to remember this as one of the sweetest birthdays I've ever had.

I'll focus on the fact that everyone who reached out to me and offered me recourse are the true stars of today. The generosity you've all shown will be something I'll carry with me and smile about for the rest of the year!

Sorry to heard that bad experiment. Yea i met some **** ppl b4 too. Shake all my tree ( even fruit one ), pick all flowers but there are still nice ppl tried to stop that guy and even help me back.

Public. I just wanted to share a hard to get DiY with as many people as I could offer it to. But I'll be hosting the future ones I do via TBT. I won't stop trying to help but I'll be more cautious about it in the future thats for sure!
