Wooow. So Sylvia just informed me Bones is apparently thinking of moving. He has only been here 3 days (counting his unpacking day) and I haven't had a chance to even talk to him after greeting him because he's never in town or anywhere and now he wants to leave me smh. As soon as I find that boy I'm putting a stop to his moving shenanigans immediately! I know I said I would let the villagers leave when they want this time around but c'mon 3 days and I haven't even been able to talk to him, no way he can go just yet!

This makes me like Sylvia a bit more at least, thank you for being such a gossipy 'roo lol

Also I thought the most recent villager in your town wouldn't ping to move until someone else left? He's my most recent and wants to move already. I did find a new villager's plot in town today so could that be why? (side-note I can't count at all apparently and thought I had 9 villagers already when I actually only had 8..oops)

Honestly I want Sylvia out too (after I get some pwps from her) because the kangaroos in this game creep me out but yeahh haha He's the best, absolutely adorable Good news is I found him in town for once and stopped him from moving! He can go in the future, after I've at least gotten to know him and became better friends ;p

There really should be a limit to when they can ping to move. That is just so stupid, sorry. That's like some dude moving into a house and then a day later decide, 'Y'know I just spent thousands and thousands on my house, time to bail' It's kind of annoying that you never see Nook hassling any of the other move ins. It'd be kind of nice if you'd see him or hear mention of the villagers having to pay off their loan. I'm pretty sure they wouldn't move after three days, if that was the case.

Like I was actually looking forward to see who would want to go and to get a new villager since this time I want to have variety in my villagers and see new faces etc but nooo the first one to want to leave is one who I haven't even properly met yet. This game can be so odd sometimes. I totally agree with the loan thing too though it makes sense they never pay for their house, no time to because they're too busy asking the mayors to get them fruit from a tree two feet away from them lmao

if you want a certain villager to spawn outside or in their house quicker, you can keep saving and quitting. each time you do so and get back on your character, the villagers will be in different areas. might take a few tries for a specific villager though.

Oh believe me I did. He just did not show up at all until today haha Oh well it's okay, at least I was able to find him now and stop him from going so soon.

Glad you found Bones & got him to stay.
When I can't find a villager, like ~Unicorn~ I save and reload - albeit I usually then reload with an alt.

When I've had this trouble with a villager - 'been told they were thinking of moving, but couldn't find them' - reloading with an alt solved the issue - if you tell them to stay with an alt, its just as good as using the Mayor. It still works.

Also if you can find the villager and they won't ping you, you can always try the diving trick. I had to do that for Tangy once because she just wouldn't ping me as soon as I entered the game and found her.
