EDIT: Its just for a minimum wage job. How short? No longer than past your ears (for girls)
For the dudes (carpet hair, short and spikable)

Only if it's the Military and/or I can't see through it and it feels heavy as hell. I got a haircut a couple weeks ago and now my head feels lighter than it did before.
