would you live in your town?

I've wanted to live in my town ever since the game cube version. Life would be so simple and carefree.

Absolutely, yes! As long as I could take my family with me. My town is so peaceful. I have a forest theme that is nice and relaxing. It is a small town which I love, and the neighbors are awesome. There are regularly scheduled events and plenty of food via fruit, fish, and the other items (even donuts - yum!). My mortgage is paid off. I don't have a job. I have plenty of bells in the bank and can easily make more whenever I wish. The worst thing I have to worry about is a bee sting. Shopping is conveniently located, and the coffee shop is literally right next door to me. Who wouldn't want that?

Yes. Gotta bring the family. They could have their own houses too. :)

yeah totally!! i would love to hang out with ducks and spend my days catching fish and decorating my house, sounds like the life to me! i feel like most towns in animal crossing are pretty relaxing and whimsical and that's p cool.

I mean, it doesn't have all the things I like about real life. After a while I'd start wondering why all the cedars look the same, and why they're all cedars.

No. I'm pretty sure it would freak me out to see horses and alligators walking on two legs and wearing ridiculous shirts. I do like how easy it is to pick up and move furniture though.

Yes, I would definitely live in my town....
With all the horrible things going on in my life, I actually have been playing ACNL every chance I get to stop thinking and escape for a while.
If I didnt have this game, I dont think I would be here right now. Thank you, nintendo <3

I have 6 towns, and heck yeah I would live in all of them. Animal Crossing is so chill, I would totally live there in an instant.

I absolutely would! No real responsibilities and cute talking animals? Paying off debts by fishing or bug catching, all the cool furniture and clothing? Sign me up!

How would you reset if there wasn't any power button since it's technically real life?

Though I suppose if you break the rules, he will get angry at you. Kinda like in the movie.
Well I'm sure Resetti would have a reason to start screaming and flailing around. Like you mentioned. I don't think I could put up with him on a daily basis.

I'd love to! Being around good people all the time, being a mayor who doesn't have any duties, being able to sail to island for a vacation, where I can make millions of money!? Also I can just run around outside in the middle of the night, without fearing getting kidnapped or something.

You have to take the good with the bad. If you shake trees, bees and huge furniture may or may not fall on you. Villagers will move in and out within days, making it seem like there is no system to to the landscape. They'll just plot wherever they feel like. Excuse me...that was my backyard. You killed my prize winning rose bushes!

Every day you head out, your villagers will pester you to do the most ridiculous requests. Hey mayor, get me a Coelacanth. You look at the sky and there's not a single rain cloud visible. But...I need this done by today, bye!

Hey Mayor! I see you have a ton of money! (Wait how do you know that? That's creepy...) For the small small price of 200,000 bells you can have my limited edition candy wrapper!

Yeah it might be neat to visit, but I could never live in a place that was so predictable.
