A few services like this exist but mainly people providing feedback, inspiration or helping people with their ideas and cleaning up the island. Services that are actually helpful and thankfully only cost bells or nmt. xD

My island is MY island. My vision. It may not be a work of art, but it will always be mine. I wouldn't want that even for free.
the person who offers this service definitely isn't the best of people lol. i guess i can understand why people would want someone else to design their island, sometimes u lack creativity or some other reason but ud have someone do it for ~$400?? no. i'm of the opinion that it's ur own save, so why would u want someone else to do something for it? does the game not lose how personal it is to u through that? it's okay to take inspiration & ideas from other people because at the end of the day ur doing it urself (& for FREE) but when u start thinking laying down $400 for someone else to snatch ur switch and design ur island for 2 weeks is lookin' pretty good,... mayhaps a break is needed?

Isn't that basically paying someone to play your game? I've already payed a good chunk of money to play this game myself, so why pay more so someone else can do it instead of me? It's not like island design is only a small part of the game, it's pretty much the main thing to do. What do you even do once someone designed you the perfect island? There's not much left then, is there?

It's not possible to terraform if they're not a resident on your island. You have to terraform yourself and they put things down or tell you were to put things. It's a rip off lol.
I wouldn’t, mostly because creating my island and designing it are why I enjoy the game, so it would ruin it for me. But if someone else wants to pay that price, that’s their right I suppose. I may not understand it, but it’s not hurting me personally if other people have money to burn and decide to spend it on in-game stuff. Based on what Nintendo’s saying though, people can get in trouble for that, so I wouldn’t want to risk it, either. I also don’t really understand how you have someone else design your island and then feel like you can show it off to other people without feeling weird. Part of the joy for me is sharing what I’ve created, so I think that sense of pride would be lost by having someone else do everything for you.

Absolutely not! I think the point of new horizons is to create your own island! Your island should be a reflection of you, not anyone else!
In a sense I suppose the price tag is fair if the designer is putting in the hours and the final product is something you're happy with. It's like any other service.
I wouldn't have someone do it for me though. I enjoy taking the time to experiment with different themes/layouts while using other islands, fictional worlds, and real places as inspiration.

I literally don't see the point or appeal of having someone design YOUR island it's your island for a reason I know some people lack creativity when it comes to design but having someone do all the work for you takes away from that personal element and attachment and satisfaction you would get from creating and completing your own island and adding things you like and your own personal touches to make it unique.

Not really. I have a very specific style and I feel like it wouldn’t be fun for me playing The game if some else designed it .
yikes i remember this woman from twitter...doesn’t her ‘service’ defeat the purpose of the game? most of the time i’ve spent w/ acnh has been terraforming and decorating my island to get it to look the way i want! it seems like it would be kind of unsatisfying to have somebody else do it for you???
besides i’ve seen her videos and her decorating skills are just...not very good? i’d normally never say that abt someone bc i get that everybody has their own creative vision but since she’s a homophobe i don’t feel bad lmfao

I did hear about a company that was supposedly hiring someone to design, and run, an advertising island for them? Not sure if that was really true or not, though.
But, for me, designing the island is the whole point of the game! But, I know it's not the same for everyone, and I'm sure there are people who'd be interested in having someone else design it... just not for that price. Frankly, I'm sure there are people who'd do it for free!
