Would you change your mayors gender if you could?

I chose a male mayor, but sometimes I kinda wish I had chosen a female mayor? Does anyone else wish they could change their mayors gender?

IDK, I think it would be pretty easy to work into the game. You go to town hall and report a mistake on your files or something, where you could also change your birthday and maybe even add extra little fun details, like maybe you could write your favourite hobby and then your villagers could be like "oh, I heard you like (hobby)? me too!" or something.

EDIT: And as a thing to deal with how your face changes depending on your gender, maybe everyone could have the same faces rather than having male and female specific ones, and things like eyelashes and stuff could be gained through having a make-over at Harriet's.

I'm fine being a girl (like in real life) for the most part. However I'm interested in the intractions with the villagers playing the other gender so I'd like to try playing a male. I heard normals flirt with you more and smugs are less flirty which would make me feel much better about them. But I dunno if that's true.

I like having girl characters only because I like making cute dresses and outfits, so I'd keep my mayor the same.

I think that's the whole reason you can have multiple characters - no restrictions based on one character.

Nah, I'm actually ok with the Mayor being male. I have my 2nd character as a female, so I get all the interesting notes from villagers from that angle, too.

I think that's the whole reason you can have multiple characters - no restrictions based on one character.

Actually, I think the main reason you can have multiple characters is so that if you share your copy of the game with another family member, you can each have a character.

Actually, you can put boy mayors in dresses too! You couldn't in previous games, but New Leaf let's you wear any clothes.

I wouldn't change my mayor to a girl because I see my mayor as me and it'd be really uncomfortable having people in game (villagers/NPC's/other players) calling me a girl and stuff bc nah, I get enough of that irl

It's cool anyway because in acnl my mayor can wear a dress and still get called a dude so yeah

It would be cool if there was a change gender option in game because I wouldn't have had to reset my old game, but that's probably too hard to work into the game and wouldn't ever happen anyway
