Would this bother you?

I just got Bertha, and though she's super cute with a nice house to boot, I'm annoyed at how she camouflages so perfectly into the map. It's like there's an empty gap between Graham and Dom...

I've always been particular about how the map looks, though, so it could just be me. But if you had a villager look out of place like this, would it bother you, too?

hmm i definitely see how she kind of blends in although i will say i don't mind how my map looks too much as I have it turned off in the corner and don't reference it that much. Personally it wouldn't bother me too much

the only thing that bothers me in the game map wise is when i put the villager's houses out of order

It would bother me when I looked at the map but to be fair I don’t look at the map very often so I feel like it wouldn’t effect me another to get rid of her.

I don't have the whole map view open very often. So if this happened with an villager I otherwise adore it would not bother me.

Nope, I find it to be a little cool actually that Bertha matches with the background.

I mean, I guess they could've added a small white stroke. It's more like a minor thing that can be overlooked.

Is there any other villagers that are similar in color like Bertha? Because if she is one of few, then it'd confirm that the artists didn't see it as a big deal.

It's not such a huge issue for me, if I look up the map then I care more for the island layout and don't pay much attention to the villager icons.

What really bugs me is that if you don't add another character there's always gonna be an empty spot under Residents in your map.

Other than that, I don't think a character that blends into the background would bug me. If anything, I'd probably find it cool.

i had bertha a few months ago. while she does blend into the background a bit, it’s not something that ever bothered me or was something i even noticed when i had her ;u;

I have Bertha and I have never noticed how she blends in. I rarely look at the map tho.
