Whilst I'm here - also if anyone has any tips on how best to use/position water patterns, that would be really helpful too! Hoping I'll be feeling a bit more enlightened after looking at those dream addresses too

I don't have water patterns with my paths between any of my three towns.

If you want to see some "finished/pretty" towns, my first town Applewin, my villager pictures-themed ACNLpics, and my 90-plus-percent [completed] Foster may be worth your time.
