Worth it to buy the Sanrio cards now?

I'm so tempted... but I just don't know.
It's a lot of money and what if it gets lost on the way.
What are your thoughts?

I'm just hoping they arrive in one piece and it was actually worth it.

Now the question is - will I be able to share the villagers with anyone from my cycling town?
Will they be adoptable?
What about the sets? Can I sell them for bells and re-order the same items again?

I hope they would come to NA. Hello Kitty has gained in popularity and Nintendo knows that Amiibo cards will sell. But I'm not counting on it.

I think it'd be another story if I could at least adopt them out later or sell their items for bells but that is not an option, is it?

You could definitely sell their sets on the forum or for bells in the Retail shop in game, but you'd get more for your money exchanging the coupons for bells or selling them here. People are still very eager to buy them. And you could always sell the cards later too

its not worth it.. since they'll be out in europe at least, so you will likely be able to get them cheaper.

They are due for Europe (currently set for 25th Nov in the UK, from Nintendo UK store & its one pack per customer. I haven't seen, as yet, anywhere else having them up for pre-order).

I cannot see Nintendo not releasing them for the US - they want to make money, not see scalpers making the sales - so personally I would wait, even if its on tenterhooks, as I'm sure sanrio will release in the US & Canada.

I don't think it's worth it, I was considering buying them too but $50 is a lot for 6 cards. The sets will become more available on here if you just wait a week or so

It depends on what you're willing to do. There's a pack of 2 for 10 USD on ebay right now, but that's basically five bucks a card..

buy the UK ones via a proxy! its not hard to find some nice UK people who would forward the cards to you.

I would wait at least a little while, I am sure that they will come to other countries soon (Maybe around Christmas or something) and buy them then. If for some reason Nintendo does not bring the cards to other countries they wont disappear in japan any time soon. And they are coming to EU so you could buy it from there instead

If it is like all other amiibo cards you should be able to re-order the same items again on different days. I m not sure about the villagers being adoptable.

There's no reason you can't keep buying the items over again, people who have the cards are already doing that now
I preordered mine already as I'm in the UK

Unless you want the villagets there is no reason to buy those cards honestly. Everything else is obtainable in other ways.

I bought a pacl of two but that's just because I want to start cycling the new villagers onto the website so even if I don't get the ones I want I know someone will want them.
