WORST special villager?

Thanks for clarifying! I was trying to dig up an old thread here but can't seem to find it.

Anyway, my perception of Saharah is a "he" due to his attire. But then again, he has those thick eyelashes.

Are males not allowed to have thick lashes? For some odd reason, most of the IRL males in my life have the longest, thickest lashes compared to me. It makes me totally jealous sometimes.

My least used NPC is probably CJ. I love his design, but I really dislike his personality. It feels like he is more of a commentary of the "insta-famous" scene chasers which rubs me a bit of the wrong way. I feel like he is more excited about fish because of his followers and not something that he is actually passionate about himself. He just comes off to me as being really fake.

Eh...I haven't got around to learning the names some of the visiting special characters.There's the bug-eyed fish guy,red lizard dude,well dressed porcupine and the booger nosed turnip hog.I miss some of the old characters like Phineas and Gracie.The only visiting characters I look forward to seeing are Gulliver/Gullivaaarrrrrrr and Leif because I like the stuff I can get from them.

i like all of them because they're all pretty cool, but i often find Daisy Mae to be the least helpful. i think she's very cute and sweet, but the stalk market makes me nervous bc i dislike going to random people's islands to sell turnips lol. that may change, though, bc 3 ppl ik irl will play acnh soon. but until then, while i love Daisy Mae, she isn't the best visitor to me.

Label, KK, and CJ take the cake as the most annoying. Label is literally a waste of a slot. Her clothes aren't interesting and not worth a visitor slot. KK is also annoying because he is always guaranteed a slot every week. Not only that, his concerts are pointless if you've bought all your songs by Nook Shopping and the stamp achievement for him is a ridiculous amount of times. Lastly, CJ is literally annoying and his collectibles are not as great as Flicks.

I only look forward to Redd, Gulliver & Gullivarrr, the rest I don't need to bother with anymore. I only need 3 more regular Gulliver visits before I get the golden shovel.

Probably Wisp, though as much as I love Gulliver... he'd definitely be my least favourite if it weren't for the fact that he's the one who gives you the Golden Shovel DIY.

Leif's the same, don't rlly care about him
the Gullivers are definitely annoying to do but I still need some things from them so I don't mind, Redd is definitely the best visitor by far. Also don't mind CJ/Flick as I'm slowly building my collection of bug/fish models!
Kicks is alright if he has good stuff, same with Sahara

Labelle and Wisp are both a burden to me. There's still things Wisp could give me, but lord know what he's using to assess what's new or expensive because it seems to me he only gives common wallpaper from nooks. He never picks furniture, and I don't give a damn about any other option. Personally I think he needs an update to only give customised furniture that you version of Nooklings won't stock.

Similar for Labelle, I don't need more clothing options, I recently threw out about 200 bits of clothing from my storage because at this point clothing is overwhelming me more than flowers, and it seems like everytime I load up the game I get given 4-5 more items of clothing from letters, villagers and balloons. It sells for nothing and just takes up space now. At least Kicks gives new and different clothing options semi-regularly.

I often ignore Leif and Saharrah too, but at least Leif seems to have updates in store, and Saharrah gives interesting items, even if I do have most now.

It's a tie between all of them, apart from Leif and Redd.

What would be cool is if, as resident representative, you could schedule them yourself. Maybe have like the restriction to not be able to schedule the same guest twice in one week. Honestly I don't understand how something like this wasn't implemented in NL when we were the mayor.

But yeah, I don't use CJ and Flick for making money anymore. They're still useful for models though, I love making those. Saharah rarely has new items for me. I still buy in case. I don't hate Label like a lot of others do, I think it's at least a good chance to change what I'm wearing. I hate doing Gulliver and Gullivarr's tasks, but the items are typically worth it. Redd is obviously the best visitor to get. Kicks might be a close second, especially now with the seasonal items (still waiting on them black bat wings). That leaves Leif. I don't need more bushes. I don't need more pumpkins. I don't pick my weeds. I don't need you, Leif, kindly set up shop elsewhere.

Probably Label since I'm pretty sure I have all of her clothes at this point and I'm not into any of them. I hardly talk to Wisp but he's at least cute to take pictures of when he or his little fragments are wandering around the island. KK slider and Daisy Mae are cute too so they gets a pass. CJ used to be my least favorite but now I'm trying to get some fish models so I'm glad to see him on my island! And Celeste, Flick, Redd, Leif, and the seagulls are great since they give us unique items

IMHO I don't look forward to Wisp. It's nice that he's not a set special visitor, but by this time in my file I ignore him every time I show up.

I'd have preferred it if he had to have conditions met before showing up. Like having to have the Resident Services building and a certain number of weeds on your island. Collecting the spirits for Wisp could allow him to pick all the weeds for you or give you a random item. Would've been a cute little call-back to his previous appearance.

I don't mind Daisy Mae and K.K. since they're fixed. You can always expect them on their designated days. Labelle is fine, but I'd prefer to skip the fashion checks after a while and just sell some pieces from her fashion line. Saharah I ignore, but I always ignore her since I don't care for most of the special walls and floors and I don't need a lot of rugs.

honestly my least favourite so far would probably be wisp, I get that you can get some interesting stuff from him but it's mostly just annoying having to run around the whole island just to be given a mediocre item at the end :/

As time has gone on, I just have less need for some of the specials. Wisp at least CAN give me something new even if he's tedious. I never use Saharah for unique wallpaper since I like my house. CJ and Flick I don't use since I have a lot of money. I felt Daisy Mae and KK could be combined into one day, it bothers me that he takes up all day Saturday for no reason, his concerts are kinda tedious, I just wish there was a skip button. Also when I go to give my villagers gifts but they all have to be sitting to see him and refuse to get up

Wisp. He doesn't do much of anything anymore. He's just not as special like he was in the old games. At least in the old games he gives you something decent, but now its like, he just gives a bunch of cheap stuff. I know he's a ghost in all, but like come on man, get with the times. When I say something expensive, give me something expensive.

I don’t know about the specials. Wisp may be a bit uninteresting, but I have similar opinions on almost every special. Maybe Tom Nook could be worse?

Well, I have nothing new or interesting to contribute to this thread, other than I'm sorry Gulliver bothers you so much. He's probably my favorite because I love his dialogue, and he was rare early on in the game, like March-April. Gullivarr's existence is a little awkward imo, and I don't like going through the effort to dive for his communicator, but at least I can ignore him once I get all the pirate stuff. (Which, granted, is gonna take a while. Maybe even longer than getting all of Gulliver's things.)

Definitely on board with Wisp or CJ being worst. I wouldn't mind Wisp if I knew for certain every time that he was going to get me something that's not in my catalog yet (I pick "new" every time). CJ is a stereotypical annoying YouTuber/Twitch personality (ironic appeal, I guess?) and yeah he's useless because I don't want to play his stupid game just to sell him fish. Label is a third place and I don't like most of her clothes (sunset pink is a great look for Rodney though!), but personality-wise she's hard to dislike.

Honestly the first one I thought about was Label. Despite how much I love her story, I hate her clothing line.
I actually didn't have enough experience with Wisp for the longest time, but oh boy yesterday I ran into Wisp and it was the first time feeling absolutely frustrated in-game. I was missing one more spirit and I swear I looked all around my island over and over and couldn't find it, so I just closed my game for the day and cursed Wisp. One of the spirits was even floating a little beyond the beach area, so I had to wait for it to float back to shore because I couldn't reach it. :/
And thank god I'm not the only one who finds CJ annoying personality-wise. I wish he had the same level of passion for Flick, but CJ seems to care only about social media. That's probably just me hating the social media culture of caring too much about likes and stuff.

Wisp, Label, and Kicks for me. And Kicks even got bumped up a bit since he has some of the unique Halloween accessories for sale. CJ and Flick I really only use for the models these days.
