Worst reward you’ve gotten for a favor?

Yesterday I gave Kid Cat a rare piece of unorderable furniture, at which point he rewarded me with.... a pickle jar. And that got me thinking, sometimes villagers can be pretty underwhelmed with the huge tasks you do for them! So how about you, what?s the worst reward you?ve gotten for a big favor?

I also remember getting some random shirt for catching a shark.....

In Gamecube I had Puddles make me go to my other town to give a present to Dora who had recently moved out. After I do that, she gave me stationary! A piece of paper for all that!

i got a shirt in return for a customized rococo vanity ;-; at least it makes rhondas room look better, but i had to wait an extra day + 30 minutes for a new one....just for a shirt

gamecube was the worst for giving back stationary!!! they had their badass pokemons and Gameboys and all you would ever get was paper lol

It sucks!
They offer the lowest crappy shirt there is, for a $15k fish!

Then when I say NO, they tell me I've missed out on a bargain! O_O

Any time they give me a shirt for anything I do. I also get so blown when they ask me to guess what's in the package I've brought them and then they give me nothing if I get it wrong. I'm like thanks for wasting my time and I still gotta go back and find who I'm running this errand for, who is probably now halfway across the town and not where I left them.

The trick is to not let them give you something crappy for a big offer. Save your game before you give it to them, and if you don't like what they give you, turn off your Nintendo and reload it until it's something good.

But I hate when they gave me clothes or wallpaper.
