1. Lame trades from your villagers (ex: golden stag for a random shirt, gold nugget for something that I already got).
2. Limitation sizes of your PWPs.
3. Villagers wear clothes from the Able Sisters, but not the ones that they have at their house or their storages.
4. Bushes can't be perfect together.
I'm pretty sure something like clothes on villager's house and villagers randomly move away without telling you does happen since the GCN version. Maybe people didn't know about it I guess.
I don't like how I can't select all my letters at once and delete them. Like omg doing it one by one takes forever and like who actually reads them for real
yeah about the letters. and it's lame that u have to read them too. i mean, i get it, it'd be annoying af to accidentally delete sinething but it's annoying to have to read all the letters from the nooklings before throwing them out ):<
Most of my peeves have already been mentioned, bad villager house placement, grass deterioration, displaying clothes instead of wearing them...
How about the needlessly complicated method of getting blue roses and purple pansies? I tried forever for blue roses before just giving up and buying a breeding pair and now I'm working on the pansies with no success and I can't help but wonder if everyone is just trolling me with this method of "hybrid red flowers" that aren't even slightly distinguishable from regular red flowers.
How bridge replacement works. It needs like about 4x4 space...why xD. Why let a villager move in so close to the bridge in the first place if game won't let you replace the bridge in the exact same spot.. Doesn't make sense..
Oh and I hate how Timmy asks me if I know how to use a wrapping paper Every. Single. Time I buy it... I just want him to shut up D: lol
-I should be able to choose where my animal moves to. Plain and simple. I'm the mayor. Real people can't build their homes in the middle of the freeway. Why should my animals get to?
-Isabelle should notify you if an animal wants to move. Or the animal should be required to ping. No more random move outs. Now this one doesn't bother me as much as others but I'm always sad seeing others lose treasured friends.
-The 16 villager cycle needs to go. It's not funny anymore Nintendo.
-Grass wear should be optional. Give us a tool for grass wear or something.
-Lack of control in multiplayer. With concerns over theft and running, it'd be nice to put our town into a safe mode where things can't be plucked or killed if we have company over. This way we don't need to feel like the cops all the time.
-Do away with the grid system. And allow us to turn PWPs. The gridding makes it hard to space pwps and center them. We should have a placement system sorta like sims, where we can move the item ourselves rather than depending on where we are standing. And I should be able to have a bench facing north pls.
yES you should be able to make the nook kids stop asking you if you know how to use stuff with a setting or something. if u need to wrap a lot of things it just gets annoying to go through the dialogs. imo with the stuff that dont make a sold sign (wrapping paper, stationary) u should be able to buy them in bulks.
The worst feature for me in the game is definitely the fact that you have to cycle out 16 other villagers before you can even get one that moved out back. It's especially annoying that villagers will sometimes just move out, without even letting you know, and then you have to do all of that cycling just to get them back. Like whyyyyyy Nintendo, whyyyyyy?! ;-;
i just plot reset marshal for 1 hour and 20 minutes and only got him into an okay place tbh plot resetting needs to stop being a thing im so tired of this just let us choose where our villagers are going to move in tHANks.
It's kind of sadistic that a game that encourages you to play it every day would implement such a thing. I started playing only once every three days and my grass was MUCH better.
Also, setting down Public Works Projects is kind of wonky. You shouldn't have to walk around the same area until you get Isabelle to stand in a veeeeeeeeeeeery specific spot so that the PWP will appear where you want it.
Question, why did they get rid of the shopping card that was introduced in City Folk? That was such a convenient little tool, since it de-cluttered your inventory of bells...
I just wanna know why they de-modernized that feature in New Leaf lmfao.
I definitely wish there was more pattern space available. I also agree with wishing PWP placement wasn't so restricted. Having Isabelle tell you, you can't build a bridge where one just stood the day before, is one of the most annoying things in game.
