I agree the Fortune shop is pretty worthless, but i'm trying to get it anyway so i have one less thing destroying the paths in my town square.
And I totally think KK should perform sitting on the town tree and you could have the background go black and the camera circling around you and him and having flower petals and whatnot float around, exactly like GC.

I really never used club LOL much or the fortune teller before I reset my game. As I have just started fresh, I really don't think I'll be using them at all, except for the expressions from the club. I know it's a space filler but I really do wish there was much more to do at club LOL. Imagine if you could compose music and hold parties there for villagers and friends on your own...

Gracie's shop and Club LOL don't really belong on Main Street, they really ruin the small town atmosphere.

I have over 1000 hours in this game and I still don't have the fortune teller shop XD.
Having said that, I might have to say Kick's. Like mysonicplush said, it's not that Kick's is a bad building, but I would almost rather see Kick's in the wing of Able's and let Labelle have her own shop. There's also more potential for new accessories in the next game than new shoes. I mean, I love the shoes we have now, but there is only so much you can do before it starts to feel repetitive. Imagine all the possibilities for new hats, masks, and umbrellas.

Most of the year Katrina shop is useless. I have the lovely phone so it tells me what to wear. Online list tells you all the items that fit that odd request.
But during the summer it helps to know when you have good fortune on items. All my players had that fortune when they caught their scorpion and some tarantulas. They also caught some rare fish.
Someone started keeping track of what the lovely phone says and than checked with Katrina. Once the list is complete Katrina will be useless. It is annoying that one day it's okay for the tank top but not on other days. Katrina needs to make up her mind.

I have only gone into my fortune tellers shop 3 times since I started the game. That was 2 years ago. It's pretty useless to me.

lol at the comments saying the fortune teller tent is useless. now come to think about it, it doesnt really serve any purpose at all. also,m the campsite is useless too just wastes space IMO. i pretty much just buy my villagers here on the forum and if i want a camp structure i'd just create a new human villager and just leave its tent there.
Was going to reply to some of the peeps here and then I realized they'd never respond cause they posted back in early 2015. But yeah the campsite is the most useless because at least everything else looks aesthetically nice. The campsite just looks ugly most of the times and all the time on DA because it's just a bunch of bricks.

I have to disagree with the campsite. Some people don't play with online communities like we do. Not everyone knows all villagers, so it's a chance for those players to meet other villagers. Also, you get furniture and play games with campers in which you can rack up to 200k bells with selling bugs if a certain personality is camping.
I don't really see the function of it. I never really bother. Maybe for those who are into astrology they can see the point?

I only just got Katrina's stall (after five years!) and that's only because I thought it would increase the likelihood of seeing Redd if she was out of the special visitor pool. That is at least A use, though...I don't get the point of the Roost as its own building if all it has is aesthetics, a noninteractive and guide-requiring minigame, and some items you can earn once.

Ok, Love the idea of having K.K perform at the tree, and also agree that the fortune teller shop is useless, but I actually quite like the idea of having a fortune teller shop and I believe nintendo could find a way to make it more useful like if she predicted cool things in the future or getting a bad fortune that makes everyone in town hate you/ you could only catch sea bass all day/ weeds start growing everywhere for example.

Like others have said, the fortune telling shop. I have the lovely phone, and once you get the lovely phone the fortune telling shop pretty much becomes redundant. Even if I didn?t, i?d mostly just go in there for fun if I have nothing else to do. I feel like the fortunes that Karina tells you in this game aren?t as good as past games anyway. Even when she tells me how to increase my luck and such, I don?t really care too much about it and just go about my day.
