working on a ghostly town: what villagers would fit?

so for a few days now ive been working on a town where its a nice little resting place for them, a zen forest area with lots of white flowers. not supposed to be super dark or anything. im thinking of the obvious ones like coco and lucky, but im also thinking of ones like eunice and whitney because of their light colour palettes, or dobie because he looks wise and old lol. if you have any suggestions please let me know!

Cole is all black and has some cute vampire fangs.

Cube has X's for eyes, which I always associate with being dead.

Jitters may be a bit too bright and colorful, but his eyes have a peculiar look to them as well, like he's seen some stuff.

Kabuki could look pretty ghostly walking through a dark forest at night.

Naomi's eyes look like a black void.

Peaches has X's for eyes just like Cube.

Peck's white eyes in contrast with his black coloring is kind of ghostly.

Vesta's coloring gives her a supernatural glow in my opinion.

I hope some of these suggestions help.

Ruby was the first that came to mind for me! She definitely has a ghostly look IMO.

TL;DR, I just put the villagers names in bold if you don't want to bother reading hhh.

Maybe Blanche? Idk maybe she'd seem a bit too happy for this? I think she'd look cool in the Zen forest you described and it's the first villager who came to my mind when I read your post. Also yessss Eunice omg what a baby.
Annalisa could maybe fit too? She seems like she could.
To continue on Blanche's vibe maybe Cranston could work, I think.
Daisy would be good too perhaps? (But change her shirt though cuz omg), and Deli too?
Aaaand also maybe Fang, Gladys, Nan and Shari? (also Tia, her being tea themed doesn't seem out of place for a Zen forest? idk)

I'm sorry I just said who I thought would fit but maybe they all seem weird to you.

Here's my pics and why:

Bones- His light color will glow like a ghost in the moonlight. Also, Bones are spooky as heck.

Chester- His whole aesthetic will fit in with the zen theme. Also, his colors are pale and ghostly. And his frowny face makes me think he is a sad ghost.

Clay- He reminds me of those haniwa burial dolls. Also his house is unsettling. I think he'd be a good subtle addition to a ghost town without being like OMG HE IS A GHOST/DEAD GUY out right.

Dora- Ghostly pale and a tatami floor. A no-brainer. A modern zen ghost.

Gloria/Rhonda- They don't really have a zen aesthetic, but they do look gothic and otherworldly.

Annalisa/Greta- Both have the zen theme and the whole Heian Japanese lady look, which always looks sort of ghostly to me.

Lucky- He's a mummy!

Tiffany, because she looks like someone who is into some dark supernatural things
Kiki, because she's a black cat
Kabuki, just because of the white and red
Cobb, kinda looks like a mad scientist
Roscoe, cuz he looks kinda evil or ghoulish
Muffy, cuz she's gothic
Cole, looks like a dark ghost
Vesta, looks like a ghost
Rodeo, looks like an evil demon ghost thing
Cube, his eyes are X's so he's probably a dead penguin ghost lol
Lobo, kinda looks like a ghoulish wolf with his green eyeballs
O'Hare, he looks like someone who likes hunting ghosts and is obsessed with investigating the supernatural haha

I just realised that these might be too dark for what you had in mind D: I'm tired and I guess I just registered ghost town and then my mind just went to a dark things LOL
