My main town has 17 million...and I've been playing/saving since last July...
My second town has I think 8 million currently which is all going to be gone doing house upgrades/pwps. Just restarted the town.

Turnips. I think is the biggest one. After awhile when you have all the important items you want you don't really spend it on anything.

About 3 million. I know how to play the turnip market, but I don't really want to do it, since it takes out a lot of the game, since you don't have to worry about fishing, digging up fossils, etc to make money.
As it is, I make about 100k a day when a play.
