Just to put this out there (since you stated “bring him back”) if a villager recently moved away - as in, within the last 16 to move out of your town - he won’t be able to move back in. The only way to bypass the 16-villager cycle is to scan their amiibo card yourself. Apologies if you already knew this or this is not the situation you’re in currently. Good luck!

I wish there was a definite way to know ;-; I can?t remember how many people had left since he did as I?ve only recently gotten back into playing... I know for certain in PC that he won?t be leaving there lol
