silver shovels have a chance change the money rock so that it spawns ore instead of bells is all

Ooh that makes sense. I just got my shovel yesterday! I guess I'll just use my regular shovel then cause I prefer bells over ore
you'll very likely make more selling the ore though than you would from the normal bell drops

It's too bad this doesn't work with a golden shovel. Even if I earn the gold shovel I think I'll just keep a silver one in my pockets

Silver Tools seem so underrated. I always use a Silver Shovel because its much cooler.
it's not based on luck, it's if you have the silver shovel. Katrina is in my town today and she said my lucky item was sunglasses, I'm wearing a superhero mask and I'm pretty sure that doesn't count as sunglasses so I'm not lucky. So go and get yourself a silver shovel from the museum and hit those rocks!
