Wisp?

I haven't found Wisp yet and I'm just wondering that when you find him you only get one chance to summon a villager and have to find another lamp or can you summon a Wisp and get to have as many villagers to go to the campsite?

I just got Wisp.
The general consensus seems to be that you have to wait until the day after the update installs (or you could timeskip). Wander around your town until a speech bubble pops up with a ???. Wisp will guide you.
Place the lamp in your home and click A.
He told me that you can get one wish per day, so I moved the lamp upstairs. Looks like the lamp has infinite uses. Can someone confirm?

Cute bonus: everytime he grants a wish, he gives you 5 MEOW coupons!

I loaded up my game, save&continued and then he spoke to me around the side of my house. I've seen other people find him around their house but if not just walk around you whole town.

This is really helpful thank you!! It's a relief that you only have to find him once! & I haven't ever time traveled in my town and don't plan to because it's the reason I restarted it. Looks like I'll have to wait until tomorrow!

How long does this speech bubble take to show up?

Just keep walking around your town, including the beach! After touring your whole town, save and continue and just keep doing it until you get the speech bubble!

But it wont apear on the first day right? Most people who have it TT allot.

When i talk to him, he just talks about the card thing. And then goes back into the lamp when I press cancel.

I installed the update yesterday evening, today in the morning when I walked around my town his speech bubble popped up. It's totally not necessary to tt to trigger that.

it's not necessary to TT, but you do have to wait a day before he starts showing up. Since the new day started, you were able to find him without timeskipping

There is literally no way to get him to appear.

It's completely random. (It seems some people have trouble understanding the word RANDOM)

It's like the old wisp, where he was in your town but you had to walk EVERYWHERE until you ran into him. If it's been a day in-game since you updated, he's there somewhere. Just walk around slowly to every bit of your town including the beach.

He will appear to each of your characters when you log in with them and they can all get the lamp -- but only one character a day can use the lamp.

I think you would have to wait a day, after getting the update I never found Wisp until the next day

Awesome thanks! Wasn't sure if it was different for new towns as I have heard some people say you need to have your town for some time!

Oh I didn't actually know about that? Did you hear that from someone who re-started their town?
