I haven't seen Wisp in a bit. I always choose something new.

I always choose something expensive because sometimes he does pull through. For me its better than an item thats new lol

I mean, to be honest, I haven't not gotten anything good from Wisp. The best I could think of was the retro gas pump, but that was when I always selected something expensive. But given the fact that Wisp admits that he doesn't know the actual value of the item, it's kinda pointless to select something expensive. I always choose the something new options, and I'm pretty disappointed that he always offers me flooring or wallpaper. There were a few times I did get some nice additions for my furniture catalog, but for the most part, they're junk.

I've encountered the wisp so many times and each time has led to disappointment, so I just leave him to float around now.
I chose expensive the first couple of times, and both times I got something under 400 bells.
When I started choosing something new, I got things I already had twice and then a judges bell.

If I talk to Wisp I know it’s a commitment; it always takes me forever to find the last spirit piece. So I have started to just give up searching and go about my business and eventually it shows up like it’s getting bored and tired of hiding. The items aren’t very interesting (haunted stuff would be amazing) but there are Nook achievements for ghost hunting for players who like those.

I don't catalog trade much so I've been helping him out when I see him to get new stuff and for the miles achievement. But its weird that he gave you something you already have
