Wisp disappearing for ages?

I just bumped into Wisp on my island and I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had seen him. Due to work I only get to play during the night and still haven’t seen him in about a month or two

Hmm. That's odd. Is he a seasonal npc because I can only think of one time I encountered him too. I don't see him return frequently like Celeste or CJ.

I went through a period where I'd get him regularly, and now I've barely had him. There is definitely a longer gap between him turning up on my island these days.
