Wishing on a star!

So yesterday, there was a meteor shower in my town and I wished on a star!

Today in the mail I got a throne from Wishy!! O__O

Has anyone else ever gotten rare(?) furniture from Wishy?

How do you wish on a star?

I got a number lamp once. I think it was 5.

And Cyote, you wish on a star by pressing A (i think it's A) when you see a star falling in the sky.

Yup! press A
but make sure you can see the sky! then your player will "wish/ pray?" to the star ^^

I got a Hologram Machine not too long ago from Wishy. Is that considered rare? o-o'

Oohh. I might have to TT back. I watched it, and wondering what the point was. Sure, it was pretty and all, got some nice pics, but there didn't seem to be any point. Now I know.

I got a 4 lamp (or was it a 7 lamp? can't remember exactly lol) from Wishy. I think all the stuff he gives you are Spotlight items.

During a meteor shower, make sure you don't have anything in your hands. Push up on the D-pad to see the sky. When the shooting star is going across the sky, press the A button. You will put your hands together and bow. The shooting star will get brighter if done correctly. The next day you will get a Spotlight item in the mail from Wishy. It is just random what Spotlight item you get.

Can you see a shooting star on any day or is it just during a shower?

I have only seen them during the shower. It seems to start about 7 pm, but I don't know when it ends because I'm already in bed asleep.

Only on shower days, They start at 7pm and end at 12am

Too bad balloons didn't have anything besides balloon furniture. I'd like Streetpass items to be in balloons, but very rarely, but that's another topic lol

Others have already answered this question but I'll add that you'll get a notice on the bulletin board that there will be a meteor shower that night. Also, if someone else has a meteor shower (people post that in the Train Station), you can visit their town, make a wish, and get a present from Wishy the next day
