With every update that is announced I feel that we should all listen to June's favourite quote, "Dream big. Expect little."

It is fine to have big dreams with each update... like dreaming of Brewster to be added into the game in the upcoming late November update, but we shouldn't EXPECT it to happen unless it is stated in the trailer for said update. It is often times the best way to not get disappointed with updates, and I think a lot of usually forget about that, and get carried away with updates, because we want what we want, and so we usually confuse expectations with what we know, and put our expectations high above what might be realistic.

Honestly? That's kind of how I go through life, ESPECIALLY in regards to video games 😂 Almost everyone's complaints about games or updates of games is "yah, it's fine, but I was expecting/hoping for _____". So I just take the attitude of being happy with what we have. I mean, yah, it's fun to think about different things that could be added... but I'm not getting myself too excited for something UNLESS it's confirmed.

ROFLLLL. Why was I expecting something inspirational 💀😭. Lowkey, June’s motto is already my life motto. Oh Lordie. 😂

I've been able to keep my expectations low for the recent updates but I'm still hoping they'll bring the cafe to new horizons eventually. If the last update comes out without the cafe or a similar space that allows us to interact with our villagers (and food!) in a new way then I'll be disappointed

I really love her quote!

In reality, players are still greedy. They will still say: "Dream big. Expect big. Because I paid big bucks for this game!" :ROFLMAO:

that reminds me of a similar quote from a different game, Okami. In it, the character Issun says "Prepare for the worst, but hope for the best!" You're allowed to hope for good things, or like... idk, Brewster (I still want him back) but you gotta be prepared for bad things too. While I've enjoyed every New Horizons update, and the Halloween one is another good one, I am getting upset at the lack of Brewster. It's more... "I miss this guy" and I understand adding a new shop will take time but. I miss him.
I got off track there, sorry... we should be allowed to dream big, but remember that dreams can only get you so far.
