my favorite holiday growing up was halloween, but now i think it is for sure christmas. i reallh enjoy purchasing gifts for my boyfriend and it makes me really happy to recieve gifts as well. id say that is my love language.

It’s hard for me to pick my favorite holiday between Halloween and Christmas. Now that I’m older and don’t have kids, I don’t get to really experience trick-or-treating anymore. I’ve lived in apartments for awhile so I also don’t get very many trick-or-treaters. But once I have my own house I wanna go all out on decorating outside for Halloween!
I also love gift giving and trying to find the perfect gifts for people so I really enjoy Christmas. My family it big on Christmas Eve parties and those are always fun.
so for now I’ll probably have to vote Christmas but Halloween is a close second!

My favorite holiday would have to be Christmas. Even though I love the autumn season, it’s Christmas that brings me the most nostalgia for my childhood. My mom puts up the decorations right after Thanksgiving. I’ll usually help her hang ornaments while we both listen to an old Christmas music playlist on Youtube. It’s one of the moments I don’t really have conflict with her, so it’s calming.

to be honest, selecting a favorite holiday is difficult ... but i really love october-december for their holidays! it's such a nice time of year, and there's so much to do, because it's BAM halloween then BAM thanksgiving then BAM christmas!! and i love all of those holidays too much...

I'd love to enter!

My favorite holiday is New Year's Day/Eve! I'm Korean so my family celebrates traditionally -- we make rice cake soup, bow to the elders (and get some pocket cash, cha-ching), and wear our traditional clothes (except most of us have grown out of our Hanbok LOL). My parents are pretty devout Catholics so we'd also go to church. Of course, I'm not super sure what's going to happen with the whole COVID situation, but I suspect we'll at least be cooking and exchanging bows within our family unit.

My favorite holiday is Halloween which is probably super typical, but I really love that the entire month of October where I live is spooky movies. Both Halloween and just plain old scary. The decorations everyone has up are amazing, the season this holiday takes place during is also my favorite because everything is beautiful and the weather is so comfortable, the clothes and costumes, and candy is also amazing. Also just a great excuse to have fun on a nation wide scale! Halloween has always been a big deal to my family and I, and it's the one holiday where I spend the most time with my friends too! I love everything about Halloween. Especially the spooky pop up stores that live inside the empty hollowed out buildings of previous stores haha!

As most people said already it's just the joyful atmosphere and it feels like the best holiday to be close to family, and presents are great too ;> But I also really enjoy all the baking we do around Christmas time, it's just a fun time together and we get to enjoy all the homemade sweets throughout the month ☺

I’m not sure if Pride counts but my fav holidays are definitely the chill ones I (normally) get to spend with queer found family in a calm space with snacks and food, so either Pride or Halloween. Really missing being with my queer found family this year
