windows movie makerr

i try making youtube videos on it but it doesn't have any cool effects
it doesn't even have any sounds >.<
and when i try to put some music on it it says i need some codec..

so is there some same and really good soft wear that i could download or buy somewhere that you know is a good movie maker with sounds an great effects :/

Sony Vegas, it may cost 300 dollars, but most things like that that have effects cost in the hundreds, it's either 100+ Dollars, Window Movie makers, or Illegal keygens.

Windows Movie maker can be sort of decent if you know how to use it.

WMM Makes you look like an idiot.

Just try the Sony Vegas Pro Free Trial and if you like it, save up for it.

WAIT, Camtasia studios is also good, but you need to record the video files first for it to work.

It just plain sucks. If you want something better, you'll have to put some money into it, because there's no good open source video editing program.

Final Cut is even better, but it's only for Mac.

Oh, I know what you're doing... *facepalm*

All the n00bs in my Media class do this. You're trying to upload the .WMMP file, aren't you? That's just a project file. You need to export your video in order to upload it to YouTube. Just watch this tutorial:
